Method Man Shoots Down The Ridiculous Divorce Court Rumor

It didn’t take long for a Clan member to shoot down the now-viral “Divorce Court” rumor where a show contestant was accused of sleeping with the whole Wu. Sharper TV viewers know that stuff is all fake, but for those of you who took it seriously, Meth commented on it, on his tour manager Simon Green’s Instagram page (scroll down to the sixth comment to the right of the main picture to read what Meth had to say).

Man Accuses His Ex of Sleeping With The Whole Wu-Tang Clan (video)

Hilarious.

I wonder how many times they had to film that for everyone to keep a straight face throughout.

Wu breaks all cultural barriers. They made it onto “Divorce Court.” Wow.

Full Set From Raekwon And Ghostface at Coachella (Video)

If you couldn’t be there, you can live vicariously by watching this video of Raekwon and Ghostface rocking a series of classics from “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx,” which was released 20 years ago and still sounds fresher than albums released last week.

Rza’s The Man With Iron Fists 2 Blu Ray/DVD On Sale April 14th!!

Surely by now you’ve seen Rza’s classic directorial debut “The Man With The Iron Fists” (the unrated extended version of which is available in a Blu Ray + DVD combo for $9.99).

Well, if you loved that (and you should, if you have good taste in kung fu flicks), you should cop the sequel, “The Man With Iron Fists 2” when it drops next Tuesday, April 14th.

The sequel, as near as I can tell, was not released theatrically, so we’re going to have to give Rza the benefit of the doubt and cop this one sight unseen. Rza didn’t direct this one, but he did co-write it. Action fans will also note that the Blu Ray and DVD are unrated (which means the action will likely be ultra-violent). If you buy it, come back here and leave your thoughts.

For DC area Wu fans, I will be at the Raekwon meet-and-greet/album release party tonight at Bar 7 (FREE, but you have to RSVP here), selling copies of my book out of a backpack, urban guerrilla style. LOL.

Raekwon Breaks Down Which Modern Rap Crew Is Most Like Wu

Rae’s answer about which modern crew is closest to Wu starts around the 1:40 mark. You have to salute the Chef for being diplomatic about it, but there’s not gonna be another nine-man crew with six of its members going at least gold with their solo records again. But he’s right, Young Money (not technically a group like Wu) and TDE (the same) are the closest.

Complex Algorithm Determines Inspectah Deck Has Slickest Flow In Rap

Inspectah Deck (Wu-Tang Clan) au Zénith de Paris

Based on the ability to work poly-syllabic patterns into your rhymes, a data mining student named Eric Malmi designed an algorithm to determine who had the slickest flow in rap. After extensive calculations, Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck came out on top! This may be a surprise to anyone who did not bear witness to Deck destroying every guest appearance he made on “Wu-Tang Forever” but longtime Wu fans know Deck’s lyrical prowess.
